Roundtable mentor-led discussion regarding the many stimulating opportunities available to revive a foundering community
Joryn Jenkins retired in 2024 after 44 years practicing, among other things, family law. A graduate of Yale at 19 years old, and then of Georgetown Law, she served for many years as editor-in-chief of both The Bencher and The Federal Lawyer national magazines. She has published 12 books, focused primarily on collaborative practice and on marketing. Among her many accolades is the 2001 A. Sherman Christensen Award, bestowed for her efforts to improve the legal profession, one of only two awards granted in the United States Supreme Court. More critical for our purposes, she founded Tampa’s most successful Inn of Court and served six years on the national board of trustees of Inns of Court Foundation. Additionally, she had a personal hand in organizing over thirty highly effective and popular Inns of Court.
